In Neudorf or Zavrh, located in the western part of the Posavje hills, near Dole pri Litiji, one can see a preserved statue of St. Rok, restored knight and hunter’s room and remains of the tunnel, which takes you from the castle to Sopota.

The manor was the second headquarters of the Valvasor family, a renowned family who also owned the mill in Sopota. Janez Vajkard Valvasor, a polyhistor and author of The Glory of the Duchy of Carniola, who lived here in the 17th century, brought his aristocratic coat-of-arms to his mansion. In the 19th century, during the World War II, the residents of Zavrh were deported and many valuables were stolen. The legacy is now being preserved by the descendants of Franc Bostič, who bought the estate at the beginning of the 19th century. Guided tour is available by prior arrangement.
