Lavrič Ecological Tourism Farm
The ecological excursion farm in Mala Sela, in the vicinity of GEOSS – the Geometric Centre of Slovenia (GEOSS), offers homemade cuisine, stopovers for 3 motorhomes and a small space for tents.
The indoors of the farm seats up to 40 people with additional 20 in the outdoor seating area, which includes the children’s play equipment. For organised groups there’s a parking space for one bus. The farm offers fresh homemade dishes: roasted lamb, svinjska pečenka – roast pork, telečja pečenka – calf roast, roasted chicken, turkey with vegetable, which is ecologically grown on the farm. They also serve homemade dried meat products, stews, yota, goulash, homemade cabbage, calf stew with ajdovi žganci (buckwheat bread) or žličniki (spoon dumplings), štruklji (rolled dumplings), potica cake and other seasonal dishes. In wintertime koline slaughter feast meat (pečenice – pork sausage, krvavice – blood sausage) is available. Additionally, guests can buy dried meat products here.
The farm is a starting point for visiting nearby tourist attractions, such as the Geometric Centre of Slovenia GEOSS, the GEOSS Adventure Park, the historical Vače, Zgornja Slivna with St. Agnes Church. There are many hiking trails in the vicinity.
Opening times: from Friday to Sunday from 9.00 to 21.00 and outside opening hours by prior arrangement; for larger groups, advance reservations are appreciated.
